Frequently asked questions

Question – Studio access & guest rules?

The studio will be accessed by a code that will be emailed to you before or around 12 hours before your session starts. If you do not receive a code in email, please email reformerpilatessuite@gmail.com (Don’t email unless it is 12 hours before your start time)

The premise is monitored by CCTV if any guests not booked into the session attend with another who is not booked on, you will be automatically charged for the 2nd person. You could also risk being banned from being able to attend our sessions.

Please make sure you treat all equipment with respect, any deliberate damage will result in a fine. The premise is monitored by CCTV and we will take appropriate action should anyone deliberately damage any of our property.

Question – How do I book?

You can book through our booking site on the booking section on our website. All sessions must be booked online. No walk ins available.

Question – what should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.

Grip socks should be worn for safety and hygiene purposes. These can be paid for online and collected in the studio or you can bring your own. Shoes are not worn on the equipment.

Please ensure you don’t wear any loose clothing, zips, belts or chunky jewellery as this can interfere with workouts and damage the reformer beds.

Question – what should I bring with me?

Comfortable clothing, grip socks if you are not buying these from the studio and a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Question – who can come to the studio?

You must only attend yourself if you booked for 1 person or attend with another if 2 people are booked.

Sadly, we do not allow spectators into the room. Only paying guests may attend.

Babies that are in car seats can attend but you must ensure they do not go near any of the equipment as they could get hurt. Any children on the move cannot attend.

Question – what are your opening times?

We are open 6am-10pm. We are a self run studio. You will be required to enter and exit yourself. Please ensure you read the email and familiarize yourself with what is expected when entering and leaving the studio.

Question – is there parking?

There is paid bay parking directly outside the front door of the premise. There is plenty of on street non paid parking around the venue.

Question – how often should I do on demand Pilates?

If you want best results and to feel stronger, improve posture and tone up, we recommend 2-3 reformer sessions a week.

With consistent practice many people notice a difference in core strength, muscle tone, and posture within 4-8 weeks.

If you can only attend once per week, you will still notice a difference but will take you slightly longer to achieve results. Consistency is key!

Question – How does on demand Pilates work?

Don’t worry if it is your first time, it is very easy to use our on demand kiosks. When you enter the studio, each bed has a kiosk attached to it. It will let you create an account or continue as a guest. Once you enter the kiosk, you can choose from over 650 workouts. Choose your workout, put your headphones on and follow exactly what the instructor teaches you.

You can pause, rewind, and exit workouts at your own pace.

We recommend that everyone watches the safety/set up video before starting your workout.

Question – is the studio heated?

We have a radiator within the studio. We want the studio to be cool while you start your workout as you will become very warm when working out. We recommend you wear a jumper to start your warmup. If you want the room to be warmer you can switch the radiator on but there are no direct windows that open in the studio so if it becomes too hot, you will not be able to cool the studio down again.
